**Please remember to be responsible with your pets and realize that it is a life
long commitment, not just a spur of the moment decision. Also, remember the above
local rescue organizations when making donations. These groups are volunteer based,
NOT FOR PROFITS and survive on fund raising and donations and more often than not,
their own resources. Also, in the unfortunate event that you have to surrender a
pet...please make sure to give a generous donation upon surrendering your pet because
that pet may take a long time to re-acclimate and lots of money may have to be spent
on vet costs, therefore lots of time and money will be needed to care for your pet.
THANK YOU and THANKS TO ALL OF THE GENEROUS VOLUNTEERS!!
P.S. If you're thinking about
surrendering your pet because you have to move...please check out the SPCA's website
as there are numerous apartments that allow pets and they're not overly expensive...At
least check it out before giving up on your pet...they deserve it.
